The RugDollz Social Collection: Celebrating Community and Personality
Alongside the launch of the RugDollz 3D collection, we introduced the RugDollz Social Collection, a special series designed to highlight our commitment to the community and give holders a way to express themselves.
Building on the original 2D RugDollz, we reimagined the characters with new skins, outfits, and 10 collectible hand items. Each hand item represents a real-life interest, including media, travel, food, motoring, gaming, wellbeing, music, sport, creative, and finance, allowing holders to showcase their unique personalities within the community. We encouraged members to display these interests on X (formerly Twitter) or in our token-gated Discord channels, creating an interactive, social layer to the NFT experience.
The Social Collection was distributed in several ways. Some NFTs were given away as prizes, others as rewards for orders from our merch store, and eventually, we opened a free mint, first exclusively for our community, and then to the wider X audience, to welcome new members into the RugDollz universe.
The RugDollz Social Collection isn’t just a set of NFTs; it’s a celebration of community, individuality, and participation, giving holders the tools to express themselves while staying connected to the ecosystem that started it all.
