# RugDollz

The **RugDollz** were the first characters we created in **2022**, designed to represent everyone in the NFT space who had experienced rug-pull projects but refused to give up on their journey. Their look tells that story: the **stitching, patchwork, and quirky traits** in each 2D character symbolize being knocked down, rebuilding, and coming back stronger. We chose the name **RugDollz** as a fun play on “ragdolls” for Web2 audiences, but also as a reminder of our roots and the **resilience at the heart of our community**.

Beyond their symbolic design, RugDollz were built with **practical utility in mind**. These NFTs could be used for **staking to earn tokens**, leveraging blockchain technology to **determine future airdrops or free mints**, and offering **exclusive discounts in our merchandise store**. More than just a collectible, each RugDollz serves as a piece of **original art and a cornerstone NFT**, forever recognized as the characters that **started the RugLabz universe**. They are not only a symbol of resilience, they are a gateway to the **experiences, rewards, and stories that continue to grow within the ecosystem**.
