Staking Explained

Here you will find some quick facts on staking your tokens and how to get the best results.

How does staking work?

An investor will lock their tokens away in a vault for one week at a time, this will help stabilise volatile price action and encourage individuals to hold. Investors can withdraw their tokens at any time, but they will not receive their bonus unless held for the minimum time of one week.

Please be aware: If more tokens are added, any outstanding packs are harvested automatically and the timer is reset to 1 week. There is a transfer tax 11% for the SHIRYO token to support reflections, this also applies to staking and removing.

Why should I stake?

By staking your tokens you will be able to claim: One free card pack per week per 20T tokens staked And/or Two free card packs per week per 20LP tokens staked. Shiryo aim to reward the long term holders by rewarding packs of cards ready for phase 2, during phase 2 users can open their cards and receive 5 random cards of a potential 150.

Is there a minimum amount of Shiryo tokens required for staking?

  • You need to hold a minimum of 20 Trillion Shiryo tokens in your wallet to stake at this moment.

Do I still get my reflections?

  • You WILL NOT get your reflections for a week of staking, but you do earn a card pack per 20 Trillion tokens that currently costs 0.05 ETH each.

What is LP staking?

  • You match Shiryo tokens with WETH to get LP (Liquidity Pool) tokens, then you stake them. It adds to our liquidity, helping stabilise our price while still giving you rewards.

What is regular staking?

  • You deposit your Shiryo-Inu tokens and earn rewards (card packs) based on how many tokens you have deposited and how long you keep them deposited.

Is there a tax for staking?

  • Yes, there is an 11% tax for each transaction made on the contract. This includes staking and unstaking. This cannot be changed as we have renounced ownership of the contract on launch.

Will I pay for gas when I stake?

  • Yes, as staking is a transaction on the Ethereum network, transacting will cost gas fees.

NOTE: Staking rewards REGULAR CARD PACKS, NOT FOUNDERS CARD PACKS.
